F.L.O.W. Future Leaders Of the World
Transforming the world one F.L.O.W.er at a time.
F.L.O.W is a youth leadership program that began in 2021 as an intervention for scholars who were experiencing extreme conflict. From this initial model we have created an adaptive model of programming that we can tailor to the needs of our school and community partners. Young women at every stage can increase self awareness, accountability and self confidence through our model of Discover, Develop, Do Better!
Discover
Self discovery is the foundation for our work in F.L.OW. Our future leaders begin their journey with identifying some key strengths and areas for opportunity through examining academic and behavioral data along with sharing lived experiences in a safe and supportive environment.
Develop
Our future leaders have access to a number of development opportunities.
Experiential Learning Opportunities include: trips, guest speakers, lunch and learns and more..
We ensure each future leader is pair with a professional mentor to increase their likelihood of post secondary success.
We offer a connection to our network of resources to each future leader from housing to tutoring services.
We know that in order to develop our future leaders they need access to resources.
Do Better
We examine academic and behavior data weekly to determine our trajectory. We also checkin regularly about our future leader’s ongoing lived experiences to ensure we are always F.L.O.W.ing towards greatness!
